More about MK Arts Week (MKAW):
24th September – 2nd October

MKAW – an opportunity to identify and share the artistic talent in the Milton Keynes area.

Milton Keynes needs an event that involves at least a hundred MK artists, across many arts forms, and draws from south Northants, west Beds and north Bucks.

A succcessful MK Arts Week would greatly support MK`s aspiration to become European Capital of Culture in 2023.

MKAW will include the opening of local studios and workshops, showcasing artists’ work, encouraging the growth of local artistic activity and giving residents and visitors improved access to a wide range of locally produced arts and crafts. It will include other art forms such as dance, writing and music, rehearsal, workshop and performance events, most probably in CMK.

MKAW will help put MK on the regional and national cultural map!
