We are seeking a dynamic enthusiastic ARTS ADMINISTRATOR to support delivery of our ambitious expansion plans. This role would suit someone with a background in creative or community activity, wanting to develop their organisational career. The previous post-holder is becoming a full-time musician after 16 years in the role.

Arts Gateway MK is an arts charity based in Milton Keynes. We support and promote the arts and creative economy of the Milton Keynes area. We run creative programmes and provide low cost studio space for creatives under the name Arts Central; we are looking to expand this by moving to much larger premises.

This is a key post, pivotal to our successful delivery. The main responsibilities are management of all the administrative and financial processes, including supervision of our team of part-time staff, venue management, liaison with other local artistic providers and management of our digital and printed communications. There will also be opportunities for involvement in specific projects.

Hours: 24 hours p.w., normally within 9.00am to 6pm Monday to Friday, but exceptionally outside that for Board meetings and events.

Salary: £19, 110 pro rata. We are a Living Wage employer
