Arts Gateway MK is an arts charity designed to support, nurture and promote the arts and creative artists in Milton Keynes and the surrounding area. Established over 20 years ago as the Milton Keynes Arts Association, We offer collaborative workspace for creative artists, funding advice, mentoring, resource and equipment hire for events, event promotion, networking for creative artists and those interested in the creative arts. Public Statement: Arts Central moving on to new premises

Public Statement: Arts Central moving on to new premises Arts Gateway MK, the umbrella charity for Arts and Creatives in and around MK, is moving our creative hub Arts Central to a new home on 11th September. Arts Central has been an unprecedented success at Station House above CMK station, both in its pilot form on Level 3, and then full scale on Level 2. In just over two years we have supported over 140 people with low-cost creative workspace, and put on or enabled over 250 events. We have had over 10,000 visits to our spaces, confirming that there is widespread demand for creative activity in Milton Keynes. World Art Exhibition for Festival of Nations – Call Out to Artists

World Art Exhibition July 30th – August 13th 2015 Call Out to Artists Arts Gateway MK is holding a World Art Exhibition at Arts Central as part of the Festival of Nations. Open to all artists, all media. The Festival of Nations is a celebration of international music, dance, storytelling, poetry, film, photography, fashion, games and more. We ask that submissions to the World Art Exhibition are in keeping with this theme, representing the rich history, art, and cultures of the world. Arts Central’s Festival of Nations inaugural event was in July 2014 with over 500 people through the doors! It is all about the celebration of International dance, music, poetry, storytelling, photography, film, native dress, game & food! Forget dancing in the street, this May is all about dancing in the park! MÓTUS Dance Festival is back again for 2015 on Sunday 31st May, with a Work In Progress Event taking place on Friday 29th May. Performances will kick off in and around MK Gallery before moving on to new pastures in Campbell Park. The festival will feature professional and community dancers alike animating the sites in central Milton Keynes. The event is free to attend and there are two opportunities to catch the action. Audiences are invited to meet at MK Gallery at either 3pm or 5.30pm from where they will process to Campbell Park with the performance culminating at the MK Rose.
