UK Young Artists: 3-Day Showcase

This is a call for young artists aged 18 to 30 working in: Applied Art, music, performance, literature, moving image and visual art. Cross-art collaborations are also welcome. MK Film Network: Film and Documentary Production Course with Rosemary Hill

  Don’t miss your last chance to see the Janus Exhibition! Join us for the final open hours Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 2-4pm at Arts Central. There’s lots to see and do. . . Come meet the artists! Janus Exhibition Open Saturdays 2 – 4 PM

SPEAKING WITH ONE VOICE Earth Ideas cic has been commissioned to conduct a research and mapping exercise of the VCSE Sector (Voluntary, Community & Social Enterprise) in Milton Keynes. This exciting project will inform the delivery of the Health & Wellbeing Agenda (MK Council). We are now inviting all groups, organisations, charities etc to complete our short survey in order to build a comprehensive map of the sector, and the wide ranging services on offer. The Arts Gateway Mingle – 25th March 2014 (Arts Networking Event @ Arts Central!)

Please join us for the first Arts Networking Mingle event of 2014 @ Arts Central on Tuesday the 25th March 2014 – 6.30-9.00pm Please come and join us for our popular Mingle event – Networking for the Arts! There’ll be the usual presentations & performances in between your networking time, one or 2 stalls and refreshments for you! JANUS submission deadline extension!

To the “Collective” of Creative Practice both at Arts Central, Arts Gateway MK, the date for submissions has extend to Monday 10th of March (Noon) to allow those of you a further opportunity to apply for the exhibit of practice in the Juried show of creative diversity here at the hub of Arts Central in April. The intention is to show the diverse creative nature found among our number, so we invite you all again to consider this opportunity and submit an example of your work. The theme : Janus, horizons, water, mirror, building, offers a wide choice of creative horizons to consider. You can submit: an image, script, text, dance/drama/theatre piece ( photo or film clip), music, film, animation, poetry, tattoo!… textile piece, song

Arts Central Quiz Night

  Teams of up to four people are invited to put their knowledge to the test during a fun evening of quiz questions.  Topics will vary over the rounds and there will be prizes on offer for the top scorers. A meal will be served along with a drink as part of the entry price. Booking open: http://agmkquiz.eventbrite.co.uk. Early bird ticket bookers £9 per person. (£11 each after March 8).
