Artist Residency Opportunity

Artist Residency Opportunity Arts for Health Milton Keynes are looking for three artists who work site-specifically to respond to the Peartree Bridge estate of Milton Keynes, as a location for research and public engagement. Artists working across visual art, sound, performance, dance and music are invited to submit applications that consider ways of responding to the location, context, history and geography of Peartree Bridge in Milton Keynes. Selected artists will be invited to work with the Arts for Health team on one of the three residencies. The residencies look to develop ideas for participatory happenings with the community that bring together people and place, connecting with themes relating to a newly commissioned artwork by Boyd and Evans at Milton Keynes University Hospital. Volunteering Opportunity – History Researchers needed

Are you interested in the history of Milton Keynes? Why not get involved with helping Westbury Arts Centre develop their historical story. We’re looking for interested people to join our team to help with the research into our 17th century site. Working with the Living Archive we’ll provide training in digitisation and the recording of documents and images.  No experience necessary just lots of enthusiasm! We want to tell the story of Westbury and share its largely unknown heritage with the people of Milton Keynes. If you would like to get involved please contact Westbury Arts Centre on admin@westburyartscentre.co.uk https://www.westburyartscentre.co.uk/a-history-of-westbury-volunteer-opportunities/
