Highlights from Art in The Park 2016

Remembering the highlights from this year’s Art in the Park Festival! Thank you to everyone that joined us this year to celebrate Art in the Park 2016, we were pleased to welcome over 10,000 visitors to the colourful event at Campbell Park. This year Nottingham Based Artist Nadim Chaudry created one of his largest colourful Installations to date which filled the large Art Marquee at this year’s Art in the Park. Find out more here. This year’s festival saw a wide range of talent, from dancers to artists as well as some delicious culinary treats from a wide range of cultures.

Extended deadline for MK Arts Week applications!

Still time to sign up for MK Arts Week Open Studios and make it into the catalogue!  The deadline is now the 26th of August! Benefits: You will be listed on this website either  with a small (thumbnail) photo of your work  (150 x 150) which you provide, we will list your studio address, contact details, the times of opening during MKAW and a small description plus a link to your own website (note deadlines) You will be listed in a printed brochure/ catalogue  (note deadlines) Benefit from the publicity spread through various media

National Beading Week exhibition

As part of National Beading Week in the UK, Sylvia Fairhurst of Witch Beads has invited artists and crafter’s to submit  work as part of this exciting exhibition. 30th July – 7th August only 6th August – a day of demonstration and special exhibits in the Guild hall at the back of the church 9.30-4 Upstairs at the: The Cornerstone Galley City Church Milton Keynes  

Creative Arts Showcase – Market place stalls available – 30th June

This event replaces our quarterly Mingles.  Stalls are now available to hire for Arts & Crafts sellers, Food and Vendors, and anyone wishing to display their work or promote their event in a lively networking evening. 30th June – 5-9pm Free to Residents, £5 to Members and £20 to Non-Members. Mix3d Stitch and friends – Part of Bucks Open Studios

Mix3d Stitch are Hilary Grayson, Jane Charles, Yvonne Elliott This year they are joined by: JaneRhodes, Jane Sharp, Lily Glover-Wright, Nicola Saunderson, TraceyMason, Elaine McKenzie Contemporary Stitch, Mixed Media, Fine Art 9 artists working with oils, cloth, papers, vintage finds, paint, print & stitch to create fine art, eclectic embroideries, art quilts, artist’s books, wall hangings, and smaller pieces of textile work. Promotional Launch of MK Arts Week
