Creative Arts Showcase – Market place stalls available – 30th June

This event replaces our quarterly Mingles.  Stalls are now available to hire for Arts & Crafts sellers, Food and Vendors, and anyone wishing to display their work or promote their event in a lively networking evening. 30th June – 5-9pm Free to Residents, £5 to Members and £20 to Non-Members. WW1 Exhibition

Visit what promises to be a great photographic exhibition as well as an informative one.  The exhibition features a series of Photographs by our resident photographer Legge as well as artefacts all inspired from the Great War. The private view is on Friday 2nd October from 5pm-8pm – All welcome The exhibition is held at Westbury Arts Centre, Foxcovert Rd, Milton Keynes. My favourite things – The Grand unveiling!

For the last two months MacIntyre Charity and CLMK (Community Learning MK) have been working along side each other to produce this exciting exhibition. With the theme of ‘My favourite things’ they ran workshops for learners from both settings to make work in a variety of mediums. There was also an Open Call for work. The Exhibition starts this evening 12th of June at Christ the Cornerstone Church in Central Milton Keynes and will run for about 2 weeks subject to the Church opening hours and services. Some of the work may be sold in aid of the MacIntyre Charity.    

Arts Gateway Mingle (Arts Networking) – 23rd June

Photographic Exhibition “Requiem” now on

“Requeim” – Memory as process Resident Photographer David Whittington-Jones is currently exhibiting an exhibition of photographs & Sculptures.  The exhibition “Requeim” explores memory as process. The exhibition is open every weekend at Westbury Arts Centre, Foxcovert Rd, Milton Keynes –  until the 10th of May 10.00am-4.00pm and by appointment on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. David’s current practices include Urban Landscape and Still Life Photography as well as Assemblage pieces.  David has exhibited work in many galleries including The London College of Fashion, London Institute Gallery, Smiths Gallery Covent Garden and Buckinghamshire Open Studios.

The Big Art Project – an open call for Artwork

“The view from 2” An exhibition of work from the 2nd floor of Arts Central …..come along and see for yourself the great views and what we have achieved!
