Arts Gateway MK is a not-for-profit social enterprise, registered at the Charity Commission (No. 1126872) and constantly looking for new ways to support and promote arts and the creative sector in and around Milton Keynes. We receive no external funding for our survival, but have been able to get some projects funded by the Arts Council, MK Community Foundation , MK Council and others. We cover our operating costs through what we charge artists and hirers for their use of our spaces, and aim to keep these costs very low. Why not help creative development in MK by making a donation? If you donate through Gift Aid your money is increased by the Government.
However small, your donation will help:
Anything from £5 to £25 will pay for some of our local advertising, so aspiring creatives know where we are and what we could offer them; The bigger we get, the more we can do
£50 will support an exhibition at one of our galleries: AC Gallery at Norfolk House, AC at Cornerstone or AC at Clyde House. We are currently programming around 15 exhibitions a year across all three venues
£100 will allow us to start a new skills development course for MK creatives, delivering either creative techniques or skills to run a successful micro-business. We currently offer courses in marketing, and in graphic techniques, and more are planned.
£500 will allow us to run a multi-genre performance event in MK Arts Week which runs each September starting in 2016. We are currently looking for sponsors (individuals or corporates) for three specific events, and proposing two more for this year. Talk to our production teams.
£1000 will allow us to pull together an exciting proposition for our next main space or two: we develop three or four Big Ideas every year. We can involve donors in the detailed project development if they wish, and welcome their enthusiastic participation.
Donations can be either single or monthly recurring payments. We really do appreciate your support. Thank you very much.
